The following report has resulted from work related to NDA reform priority (g) Increased Workforce Capacity. The Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council has provided the following report to DPRWG: An examination of Workforce Capacity Issues in the Disability Services Workforce: Increasing Workforce Capacity. The report has a focus on the structural, sectoral and organisational issues that challenge the development of a sustainable workforce for the disability services sector. It should be noted that much of the information in the report (from 2010) has been superseded by significant work done in other domains and the findings presented will be used as resource in conjunction with other relevant materials in the broader work being undertaken by DPRWG or pursued individually by jurisdictions.
